Today, I am grateful for colour.
There are times I am blown away by the choice of colours that nature combines. Who would have put purple and orange together or green and yellow? But the beauty of mother nature is that she has not learned it from a book or was told by the Arts teacher at school what colours go together and which do not! I have also broken out of my structured way of thinking and added colour everywhere in my home – my walls are painted red and green and blue and orange!! So THANK YOU for colour – it brings life and love!!

My Two Gardens gardening buddy, Christine, and Cat of The Whimsical Gardener, has invited Garden Bloggers the world over to join in the 30 day challenge of posting a photograph and sentiment of that which you are thankful for – every day for 30 days. We all have something to be thankful for. See Christine’s and my posts filed under “30 Day Challenge“.

So right, mother nature does it best. No worries about clashing or what looks best with what. It just looks beautiful because it’s there when we least expect it.
I love the combination of purple and orange. One of my favorites!! Barbie, our homes must be very similar. I have a pumpkin pie color on the walls of the kitchen, butterscotch in the family room…I like to eat too! Have a great day. Glad you joined the challenge!
Hi Cat – Thank you for initiating it! Yes – I have a very interesting home – will perhaps share some of it in the blog one day (when my garden gets boring!) 🙂
Great thing to be thankful for! I’m one of those that think all colors go together in a garden.
