Remember, I took some photos of the nursery that we popped into when we took our trip through Elgin. It was on the N2 rest stop next to Pelegrine’s Farm Stall. It was small and quaint and I liked the garden decorations so much I had to show you. They had very nice Rhododendrons (spelling?) and I captured a butterfly on one of the flowers. So, if anyone was taking a trip to Elgin or Grabouw, let us know if you spend time in this nursery. We had no more room in our car boot.

Country living is the best! Being a true spirit of the earth, my garden is all about vegetables and fruit trees and herbs and chickens roaming free. I was keen to really start gardening when we moved to Philadelphia in 2005, but not your typical suburban-type garden – sterile and bug-free! I wanted an edible garden.

I agree, the decorative items are really nice. I liked those flowers, they looked like metal.

Yes rusted metal on a wooden stake – I love this type of thing 🙂

I completely agree with Christine. I love the butterfly on the rhodies!

In England they call it a “boot” as well…lovely nursery and I love the butterfly as well..

I love the photo of the Butterfly on the Rhododendron!

PS: For our American visitors – A South Africanism – “Boot of a car” is the trunk of a car. Don’t know why we call it a boot 🙂
