One Minute Tips from Barbie’s Garden – 1

Welcome to the first “One Minute Tips” from Barbie’s Garden.

If you have a tip to share – let me know! Maybe yours will be selected and I will do a “One Minute Tip” on it!

Happy Gardening xxxx

Country living is the best! Being a true spirit of the earth, my garden is all about vegetables and fruit trees and herbs and chickens roaming free. I was keen to really start gardening when we moved to Philadelphia in 2005, but not your typical suburban-type garden – sterile and bug-free! I wanted an edible garden.

Tee hee: I laughed out loud at the birds eating your lunch. 🙂 Seriously, though, it is a very nice video. And the tip is very helpful. I can sense the spring in the air in the birdsongs. Great video!

Hi Barbie, Tea bags can be acid (so they’re great for your roses) but most vegetables want alkaline soil, especially brassicas and tomatoes so your seedlings of those might be very weak grown in those conditions. But do add tea or coffee under rose bushes or onto the compost heap. Great presentation. Christina
