New life in my garden

It has been a trying week and my heart is with you, Chris. I know that there will be nothing that will console you. Time is the only healer. I have dedicated this post to you. The new life that I have found in my garden, gave me hope that our soul is never lost and that we are ever closer to our loved ones. I am grateful for our friendship and I whispered a prayer of thanks for the blessings in my life and lit a candle for you.

There were two new nests in my garden – a dove nest and a wagtail nest.

[one_half]The wagtail nest is in the Jasmine bush[/one_half]

[one_half_last]Look how small they are[/one_half_last]

[one_half]This dove nest is perched in the Loquat tree[/one_half]

Let your garden bring you joy again xxxxx

Country living is the best! Being a true spirit of the earth, my garden is all about vegetables and fruit trees and herbs and chickens roaming free. I was keen to really start gardening when we moved to Philadelphia in 2005, but not your typical suburban-type garden – sterile and bug-free! I wanted an edible garden.

I only find nests much later, when the leaves fall. But we do have a couple of sparrows nesting above the verandah. They fly in with dinner, land in the plum tree, and glare at me GO AWAY!

I usually do too x but I was really looking for something special x and I found them x I’ll get an update! 🙂
I love the noisy sparrows !
