Flowers to say “I’m Sorry”

Flowers to say I'm Sorry!

To all my dear gardening friends, I owe you an apology. Life and work (mostly work) caught up with me and have kept me from my garden and my blog. I miss the daily banter and commenting about our gardens tremendously and I’ve missed ‘watching your gardens grow’. Unfortunately it doesn’t look as if things will slow down anytime soon and I’m committed to this crazy work schedule for at least another three weeks.

I promise I will be back soon to following all my dear garden-blogging friends!

Dominated by large trees on a medium sized property, my garden is very shaded. With no “full sun” areas I have to plant shade and partial shade loving plants. I love shrubs and flowers including camellias and azaleas but Roses and Irises are my favourite and getting these to thrive is a challenge …

Hey there! I was just feeling so guilty myself about not having checked in with your blog for awhile but I see life has kept you on Superdrive too! Just glad to know that maybe all of us gardeners can always pick up where we left off because we have a special kind of awareness of our passions but know we have commitments that keep us away at times. Look forward to reading what I’ve missed…

I am happy to hear you are well Christine. Dont take up your precious time by dropping by my place at the moment. Its so different for retired folks like myself

Thank you all of you so much for understanding!! Today for the first day in weeks things were a little more ‘normal’ and hopefully I’ll be ‘back’ sooner than expected. Am looking forward to catching up with everyone 🙂

No worries my friend – I know that your garden forgives you and so do we 🙂
Life gets in the way and we need to tackle it head on – can’t wait to go on our nursery expedition when you are ready! 🙂

Don’t worry, Christine, it happens to us all. We’ll all be here when you have more time. I hope you have at least a little time to enjoy your garden

Don’t apologize or think about it…I am in a similar situation at work and do not see it changing until I retire…too much work and not enough play is never fun especially when we can’t be in our gardens…I am glad to hear you are well and hope you at least find some time in your garden to relax a bit when you can…see you soon!

I’ve been wondering about you! Take care of yourself while you’re doing so much, and I hope you get to take a break soon so you can enjoy your garden while it’s blooming!
