Hi Chris, It was been a wet and cold week so far and in the evenings out come the warm woolies! It is really and truly winter and you will usually catch me with a blanket wrapped around my waist! I have been threatening to get wood for the fire for weeks now – but still no wood!
I have been reading up on all my The Gardener magazines because all I can do right now is plan my back garden. It is still too wet to work in it and we still need to complete the back garden wall for privacy. I have been going through all the garden design books you lent me. I have no idea how it will look but I have a few ideas I want to incorporate. Hopefully this week, I will be able to have a sketch of my back garden.
Hope you have a great week ahead. Xx

Hard to believe you’re in Winter… stay warm!
Hi Carolyn – it is, especially when today’s weather is anything to go by – It was sunny like a spring day! 🙂
Sounds enticing! Enjoy your cozy evenings…
Love your photo – it’s sweet!
Thanks Cat! Thank goodness our winters are not long!
Dear Barbara, It will change, I promise. It seems like yesterday I was saying something similar. Now it is too hot and humid to work outside. P. x
Thanks Pam – I know I appreciate summer now!
Wooley winter? Rain? It sounds like another planet. It’s hard for me to get out into the garden because of the heat. Somewhere between you and me there must be the perfect climate!
So true!! My best time is spring 🙂
