I was so inspired by Donna from Garden Walk Garden Talk and her post on the word bucolic. It was a pleasant surprise what this word meant and with her beautiful visuals, got me thinking of getting out into my countryside and showing you what my eyes delight in everyday I drive into town.
I love this time of year and the rural fields are full of the new wheat and oats and the gush of bright yellow canola. The farm animals and birds take pleasure in the warm days too. What a wonder this is … enjoy my part of the world xxxxx

Thank you for sharing some of your world, it is quite lovely, and quite different from mine.
Glad that I can across the miles x it is a wonder to me always to have “visitors” to our gardens via the blog. We can share so much more xx 🙂

I’m so glad you showed us! What beautiful country! I’m not sure what I would have expected, but probably not any of this. Absolutely lovely.
Thank you Holley. I am quite proud of my part of the world. We have a beautiful country.
looks and smells like country.
What beautiful fields. I love the sea of yellow flowers. A pond is so fun to have there is always something going on there. Beautiful scenery.
The pictures of the yellow fields look pretty similar to the UK.
I love the African daises, half open and half closed. We don’t have them growing in fields but they grow well in my garden.
One word – STUNNING!!
The yellow daisy is the Malmesbury gousblom, and the rain daisies have arrived here too. Love that vibrant green of new wheat.
Barbie, the photographs are simply stunning!! BEAUTIFUL countryside! My favourite is the 9th photo where you can see Table Mountain in the distance … Just stunning!
